Kidkraft Deluxe Let's Cook Kitchen Review

when it arrived i was shocked on how long it took to put together. and one of the decals was chipped away strait out of the package (kinda pissed me off after paying 140 bucks!!!) but after all said and done it is very sturdy and my over active daughter LOVES it. she is always trying to make me something to eat. She is almost 4 and tall for her age and this kitchen will not be too small for a few years yet. my friends kids are 8-9 and theyre not too big or heavy handed for it either which is another bonus. after the initial nerve wrecking moments over all a terrific buy.

Not durable enough for a rambunctious 2 year old - K. Bateman - Southbury, Ct. USA
Just a few months after receiving this for a Christmas present, our very energetic 2 year old girl broke one of the doors and the sink. In the first week alone we had to remove the shelves and some of the door hardware for fear she would hurt herself on them. My husband has begged me to get rid of it, and I finally agree it's got to go, especially now that she could potentially hurt her head or neck where the sink used to be. I feel bad because her grandparents spent a bundle on it, and apparently it was a nightmare to put together.
For an older or calmer child I can imagine this is a fun toy, but for us it's just not appropriate. If you must purchase this product, I'd suggest you wait until all of your children are 3 or older.
